Éditorial
It looks like subsection 11.2.2 should be a subsection of 11.2.1 ELSE it is a non-sequitur.
Éditorial
I don't believe that the Municipal "shall" ensure that the process are "easily understood". I think it should be "should ensure" as the words "easily understood" are subjective and could be used against the Election Administrator in a court case.
Éditorial
Add a definition for "vulnerability assessment".
Éditorial
Add a definition for "chronological systems log".
Éditorial
Add a definition for "audit log".
Éditorial
Add a definition for "open-ended adversarial testing".
Éditorial
Add a definition for "authorized representative".
Éditorial
Add definition for CVD.
Éditorial
"Voters concerned" is awkward and doesn't contain the possessive of "voter".
Éditorial
"Authenticated administrators" is not defined and is not consistent wording.
Éditorial
Add a definition for "verbose access logging" and possibly remove the word "verbose" as it is subjective.
Éditorial
There is ambiguity with the word contest - a contest in an election context is an entity not a period of time. If it means the entity, then it should specify that the "contest has been voted".
Éditorial
Standardization of remote and external hackers.
Éditorial
Add a definition for "privileged administrators".
Éditorial
Add a definition for "penetration", "exfiltration", and "eavesdropping" as they are used in several areas in the body but not defined.
Éditorial
Move the definition of "tampering" to the Definition Section, especially since tampering is used in another section (11.2.6) as well.
Éditorial
Move the definition of "social engineering" to the definition section.
Éditorial
Move the definition of DoS and DDoS to definitions.
Éditorial
Move definition to definitions - especially since the word malware is used elsewhere in the body.
Éditorial
Move definition to definitions
Éditorial
Shouldn't the "External Threat Actors" be defined above and then can simply be referenced in the body? Should we put a fine point on it and say "outcome" as well?
Éditorial
The definition of "eligible" contains as scope limitation sentence. There should be consistency with "eligible" and "entitled".
Éditorial
"Electoral Technology" is not defined and "robust is subjective and not defined (would perhaps be better put in the body if "robust" was going to be needed. Additionally, the word "correct" is really not what we are going for - it would be better to use wording in line with the Principles of the MEA.
Éditorial
The definition does not explain what the agreement would be for.
Éditorial
The word "all" is problematic. Just because something has been patched doesn't mean it has patched all known flaws - it could be for one of the flaws.
Éditorial
Currently no reference to the provider being a software or technology provider (i.e. could be consulting services or a "provider of votes" as it is written.)
Éditorial
Currently no reference to the provider being a software or technology provider (i.e. could be consulting services or a "provider of votes" as it is written.)
Éditorial
Not clear why there is an emphasis on efficiency in this definition.
